A Fall Love Affair at Artifact Events, Michelle & Chris

It was my honor to work with my dear friend and industry colleague, Michelle, for her wedding day with Chris. She had all of the details planned out, but wanted to make sure she could enjoy her special day. I was more than happy to help them out! I had multiple meetings with Michelle and Chris to make sure no item was overlooked and amidst the chaos of The Chicago Cubs World Series parade and rally, I found myself helping my friend get ready for her big day.

Michelle and Chris chose to get ready at the JW Marriott and their First Look was the sweetest. They were able to avoid a lot of the parade traffic to grab some more photos around Chicago, before they arrived at Artifact Events. I love some of these unique photos at the venue that David Turner was able to capture!

Michelle worked with Allison at Stems for a lush, unique, textural, organic, vintage fall elegance theme for the wedding. This was highlighted with the shades of garnet, ruby, and champagne colors with accents of peach, coral and green that were used in every floral piece. What a stunning display in the raw space of the venue! We are all obsessed with this perfect Fall color palette!

Guests enjoyed a very heartfelt ceremony where Michelle & Chris professed their vows, with a festive cocktail hour following with a cigar roller and napkin dress lady. The musicians from the Becca Kaufman Orchestra helped to invite guests into the space for dinner. Guests enjoyed a starter course of Baby Spinach and Brie Salad, with the choice of either a Short Rib or Arctic Char entrée. Michelle and Chris chose to not have a wedding cake for dessert; rather, they had a Doughnut Cart and mini desserts. The dance floor was packed all night with their closest friends and family, thanks to the rockin’ beats from BKO! Congratulations to my dear friends, Michelle & Chris!
