Danielle & Jeremy, Garfield Park Conservatory

I was so excited when Natalie from Hello Darling referred Danielle and Jeremy to LK Events. Danielle and Jeremy are the sweetest couple and we had so much fun planning their upcoming March nuptials together. They chose Garfield Park Conservatory for their wedding ceremony and reception. They loved the conservatory’s botanical garden feel, especially for a March wedding in Chicago!

We had planned for their “first look” to take place near the Chicago River, which had been dyed green that morning for St. Patrick’s Day. Unfortunately, we had a bit of rain that day, which prevented the outdoor first look from happening. Instead, they saw each other in the hotel lobby surrounded by family and friends. What a special moment that was! Danielle and Jeremy were pleasantly unaffected that it was pouring outside – they were just happy to spend the day together. Since photos couldn’t be taken outside around Chicago, it was just as lovely to take them amidst the lush floral and botanic gardens inside the conservatory.

Danielle and Jeremy’s ceremony was beautiful. Jeremy’s family friend officiated the wedding at the intimate setting in Horticulture Hall. Hello Darling adorned the guests’ dining tables with colorful orchids, succulents, moss and river rocks for an organic garden feel. To top it off, Danielle (being a dancer) choreographed a dance with her bridesmaids as a surprise to Jeremy. It was awesome!! We had a blast planning this one!
