Classic Style at The Peninsula Hotel, Tina & Jeremy

Work doesn’t feel like work when you have couples like Tina and Jeremy. Their love for each other was infectious and their families were so warm and welcoming that it was a true joy to be on the wedding planning journey with them. We first met right after their engagement and dove right into discussing their wedding venue. After wavering between two incredible venues, ultimately the service, experience and the outdoor terrace with incredible views of the Peninsula Hotel won their hearts for their wedding celebration!

It was a true joy watching their event professional team come together because I could see the true and authentic connections Tina and Jeremy were making with their vendors. That is one of the most satisfying parts of being a planner – connecting our couples with the incredible talent in Chicago who they can then trust with all their details and visions. The moment we walked in the door at Revel Décor, I knew Tina and her mom were at ease with the incredibly approachable, knowledgeable, and talented Erin Sellers. Revel Décor brought Tina’s chic, classic and Hamptons worthy style to the Peninsula Ballroom on a hot September day. Their ceremony chuppah and dramatic lighting were the perfect first impression for their guests, which continued right into dinner.

One of my favorite parts of planning their wedding day was discussing the music with Becca Kaufman from BKO. Tina and Jeremy met at Lollapalooza, so clearly music played a big part in their relationship. Becca is a music genius and worked to create a unique arrangement of Coldplay’s Yellow for their first dance. Months and months later, thinking back to that song and the love on the dance floor still gives me goosebumps. The party continued into the night with a packed dance floor accompanied by a very thoughtful and personal set list.

It was an incredible honor to join you both on the journey! Congratulations, Tina & Jeremy!

A note from the couple:

Allison I cannot thank you enough for EVERYTHING!!! We seriously could not have gotten to yesterday without you. You are amazing!! We can’t wait to catch up after our honeymoon.
