I find that it’s pretty easy to become friends with my clients. When you spend month after month together, planning their dream day over glasses of wine and laughter, a bond is always formed. This is what happened with Megan and Stephen and I this past year. This darling couple had a clear vision for their wedding day and it included a reception at Megan’s childhood home, surrounded by family.
Megan & Stephen’s relaxed elegance was seen throughout their wedding day. One of my favorite photos of the day was of Megan & Stephen presenting flowers to the Blessed Mother. It’s a picture perfect moment. After a beautiful ceremony at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, the guests boarded a trolley that transported them to the home reception. They were greeted with cocktails, passed appetizers, and a solo pianist. While the wedding party took some photos around Naperville, guests were invited to play lawn games and mingle throughout the main level of the home, deck and tented area. Megan, Stephen and the wedding party arrived at the home and Twin Strings began playing. Then the main course food stations opened for everyone’s enjoyment. The evening continued with speeches from family members, scrumptious pie dessert, and a DJ. What a beautiful day for my new friends!
